Career Advancement
When you thrive in your career, you’re able to provide the best care and service for your students.
We support your professional journey, every step of the way by providing thoughtful training, hands-on internships, mentorships, and career development opportunities.
Professional development & training
As a new hire, our Learning and Development department welcomes you with a company orientation sharing our core values and unique culture. You'll receive personalized access to our learning hub, complete with resources that keep you growing—from essential compliance training to specialized training, continuous education courses and professional development workshops. We also conduct annual in-person workshops tailored to your role, whether you're working directly with students or in a leadership position. We continuously support your growth needs with diverse learning experiences aimed to expand your special education expertise.
New graduate & internship programs
We’re committed to helping new grads and early career specialists build meaningful careers by offering hands-on training, mentorship, and internships opportunities to grow your careers and become fully certified/licensed in your area of expertise. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to deepen your expertise, we provide the guidance and experience needed to grow with confidence.
Our internship programs offer students hands-on training in the application of occupational, speech and physical therapy concepts to pediatric care by skilled and experienced clinical instructors. We work closely with university programs to align goals and student objectives to meet the standards of national boards and the university expectations.
Our volunteers are given opportunities to observe therapists in real-live settings, asking questions, exploring materials and resources, and assisting with clinic tasks. To ensure a smooth start, all fieldwork students and volunteers complete necessary training and clearances before beginning their rotations.
Mentorship opportunities
Once our therapists have reached a desired level of experience and completed leadership training, they may have the opportunity for a Mentor position. This position includes additional (non-caseload) dedicated time during the week to provide support and mentorship to therapists, under the direction and supervision from the lead therapists and Director/Assistant Director. Mentors play a vital role in fostering professional growth, collaboration, and excellence within our team.
We also welcome students and volunteers, who bring fresh perspectives and energy to our Related Services department. Their contributions help create a dynamic and supportive environment, making the learning experience truly special. With opportunities to grow in schools, clinics, and early intervention settings, we offer hands-on experiences that shape the future of therapy professionals while enriching the care we provide.
Clinical fellows
We believe that the careful treatment of new professionals is critical to the field of speech pathology and our community and we believe we are the best choice for Clinical Fellows. We are invested in helping you navigate the challenges of charting your initial direction by providing high-quality supervision, access to our online resource library, double the ASHA required supervision time, materials allocations, and monitored, manageable caseloads.
