Behavior Intervention Services

Point Quest Behavior Intervention Services help students develop positive behaviors & self-regulation skills.

Our Behavior Analysts collaborate with educators and families to conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) that identify the root causes of challenging behaviors.

We create and implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) that incorporate proactive strategies and positive reinforcement to promote meaningful behavioral change. Through the school-wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBS) framework, we create structured environments that encourage respect, responsibility, collaboration, and safety. For students who need a higher level of support, intensive individual services are also available.

Our techniques include:

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA): Evidence-based strategies for improving specific behaviors.

  • Antecedent Interventions: Modifying the environment or circumstances to prevent challenging behaviors.

  • Functional Communication Training: Teaching students effective communication strategies to express their needs appropriately.

  • Incidental Teaching: Using naturally occurring opportunities to teach and reinforce skills.

  • Discrete Trial Training: A structured approach to teaching skills in a clear, repeated manner.

  • Task Analysis: Breaking down complex tasks into manageable steps to facilitate learning.

  • Data-driven decision-making: Monitoring progress and reinforcing positive behavior with real-time feedback
